Hurley Community Outreach

For eight years the Hurley Community Outreach has faithfully served the village of Hurley. Surprisingly the standard of music and singing was akin to a large city church and with good coffee and good company the folk are in no hurry to dive off at the end. In many churches the coffee at the end is to be feared. I’ve actually seen it where you face what looks and tastes like insipid waste water from a washing machine disguised with milk, but in Hurley, good coffee! Not only that, a decent biscuit too. As you look back at centuries of church history since the reformation you see churches and denominations formed over personalities, practices, doctrine and structure, yet so many still get the coffee wrong! Is it any wonder so many backslide? Hurley on the other hand, yes, they have the coffee right. Could this little village outreach be leading the next reformation?

If we lived in Hurley we wouldn’t hesitate to invite anyone to the service there, so if you are reading this now and you live nearby …

1st and 3rd Sunday each month at 6pm
Hurley Village Hall, Knowle Hill, Hurley, CV9 2JD

I reckon they could comfortably seat another hundred folk, so bring a few friends too! Best of all it is on some great motorbike runs, so bikers please take note.
