The One Show (BBC1)

Representing the UK funeral profession on The One Show. All pictures kindly copied by Chris Denne.

It was a real privilege to represent the funeral profession with Dom McQuire, president of the NAFD, on The One Show tonight. Carrie Grant is of course a sensational young lady and it was great fun, not to mention a challenge, to be interviewed by her.

The lovely Carrie Grant interviewing Paul Sinclair on The One Show

Many years ago I was known for my world record fastest motorcycle hearse the Suzuki Hayabusa, the fastest hearse over all (until that Ozzy beat me), being The Faster Pastor, the Last Blasts and so on, but tonight I had to represent the UK funeral profession alongside my funeral senior Dom McQuire. Truly terrifying!

The UK funeral profession is not made up of a bunch of people saying, “someone has got to do it,” they are in fact a wide range of professionals seeking to serve both the deceased and those left behind. This involves an enormous amount of teamwork and preparation, so to represent them is a privilege. Am I glad Dom McQuire was on the same feature, he could answer the difficult questions!

Two professionals and two old friends, Paul Sinclair and Carrie Grant

One Response to The One Show (BBC1)

  1. If professionalism = getting it right + complete integrity, then you are the consummate professional, Paul. I do not lay claim to exclusive rights to this opinion.
